Chciałbym sie podzielić moimi doświadczeniami z instalacji WiFi na Linux Mandriva 2007.
Niestety nie byłem w stanie zainstalowac karty DWL-G510 wersja C2 gdyż ta wersja ma chipset Marvill i nie mam pomysłu na instalacjje pomimo długich dyskusji z "suncez'em".
Ostatecznie udało mi się zainstalować Sagem USB XG-760n dołączany do Liveboxa i to w nastepujący sposób:
1. Posługiwałem się wyłącznie drak'iem w oknie "konfiguracja komputera"
2. Nalezy na początek doinstalować pakiet kernel-source najlepiej z płyty od Mandrivy 2007
3. Doinstalowac pakiet dkm-ndiswrapper i ndiswrapper
4. Skopiowac sterowniki z płyty livebox dla XG-760n wybierając z katalogu na płycie tylko pliki *inf, *cat, *sys dla Win XP np. na pulpit
5. Włożyc WiFi do portu USB
6. Uruchomić "konfiguracja nowego połączenia" a następnie "wireless" i dalej postępowac zgodnie z poleceniami wskazując plik *inf w katalogu na pulpicie
7. Wybrac pobranie automatycznie adresu z serwera DHCP
8. W momencie pojawienia sie ekranu do wykonania połączenia i wciśnięciu "Dalej" przycisnąć przycisk Reg na Livebox i wszystko zacznie działac.
9. Po restarcie komputera połaczenie mamy od razu.
Myślę, że wszystkim zainteresowanym to równiez się powiedzie. U mnie działa OK.
Chetnie kupie Sagema C2-3 w rozsadnej cenie.
